South Florida is the subtropical and Florida peninsula. It is surrounded on three sides by water. Each side constitutes a unique fishing environment. I am Captain John Prahl, fourth generation Miami native. I have been fishing All Three Sides my entire life. From the urbanized Gold Coast through the shallows and reefs of Florida Bay and the Florida Keys to the wilderness of Everglades National Park on the West. South Florida provides one of the most diverse and challenging, but also one of the most prolific recreational fisheries in the world. Each area is accessible and fishable year round in a wide variety of weather conditions for day trips from your home or hotel.
