Alta Tethered Aerostats We make, sell and operate persistent aerial platforms to collect Aerial Images. ALTAMETRY INC, has pioneered Autonomous Lighter Than Air solutions for more than a decade our breakthrough technology includes: Alta TAS (Tethered AeroStats) Models: SW and EW SW models come with a US patented aerostats and full complement of aerial platforms including a variety of cameras and signal relays. Applications for SW include one day event monitoring in arenas and other public gatherings where drones would be illegal, unsafe or impractical. EW models support the full complement of imaging, sensing and signal relay platforms. EW power is provided via tether, allowing it to remain aloft indefinitely without battery swapping.
