Anamargret Sanchez

Among Miami's most experienced and sought-after yoga teachers, Anamargret is a global citizen of Jamaican, Cuban, and German heritage. She is a dedicated student of the yoga tradition and has been blessed to study with many respected teachers, including Rod Stryker, creator of Para Yoga, Manorama, founder of Sanskrit Studies, T.K.V. Desikachar, Susah Powers, and Judith Lasater. She considers the Himalayan Institute under the spiritual direction of Pandit Rajmani Tigunait as the home of her Tantric yoga lineage, into which she was initiated in 2003. She is passionate about honoring the roots of yoga and the ancestors that have passed down the teachings that benefit us today.
