Daniel N. Weingrad, MD

Dr Daniel Weingrad is a board-certified surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and benign breast disease, melanoma and cutaneous (skin) cancers and has been actively practicing Surgical Oncology for over 39 years. He is involved in the investigation of lymphatic physiology and lymphedema in breast cancer patients. Dr Weingrad obtained his medical degree from the Harvard Medical School. He fulfilled his residency in general surgery at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and the University of Maryland. He completed fellowships in Surgical Oncology in the Surgery Branch of the National Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
