Dr. Hernando Cordero, MD

Dr. Hernando J. Cordero is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Cordero earned his medical degree from Universidad del Azuay in Cuenca, Ecuador. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Jacobi Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Cordero then completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, where he was awarded Teaching Fellow of the Year for his involvement in residency and fellowship education, and later designated Chief Fellow.
