I have been doing addiction treatment, for 35 yrs. I was the founder, and the Director of the South Miami Hospital's adolescent treatment program for 12 yrs. I have been doing clinical work face to face with patients suffering from addiction, dual diagnosis,family therapy, couples therapy, adolescent and adults for 35yrs. I was in treatment myself five times after 12yrs of active addiction. I just picked up a 35yr chip from a self-help program which I have been attending since I got sober the same year I began my career at the hospital.
