Dr. Roger Saldana is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital's Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Health Program & also serves as physician liaison for the Community-Based Orthopedic Surgery Initiative. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville & completed an internship in general surgery, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at Tufts Medical Center & Tufts-affiliated hospitals in Boston.He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Shriners/St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. His clinical interests include pediatric sports-related injuries, fractures, limb abnormalities, trauma, & general orthopedic surgery
