Dr. Stephanie Shim is a nationally recognized, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Director of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, and Assistant Professor at Columbia University’s Division of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Shim earned her undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. From there, Dr. Shim was accepted into the Columbia University Medical Center orthopedic surgery residency program, where she was trained by the world’s leading experts in orthopedics.
