The Hialeah Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1979 by a small group of young Cuban American entrepreneurs eager in response to promote and assist in minority owned small business development, specifically Hispanic owned businesses in the City of Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens and throughout Miami-Dade County. In 42 years, the Chamber has seen tremendous growth and changes. These handfuls of eager and energetic business entrepreneurs provided the vision, platform, and structure of what is today known as the Hialeah Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
