UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC)

UF/IFAS Tropical Research & Education Center develops and disseminates science-based information about tropical and subtropical horticulture and natural resource sciences through basic and applied research, extension, and teaching to sustain and enhance the quality of human life and the natural environment. The Plant Diagnostic Clinic at UF/IFAS TREC serves Florida southern counties through the diagnosis of commercial, homeowner, and extension plant diseases via samples submitted to the laboratory for turf, ornamentals, fruits, vegetables, and other plants.
