Lourdes Rosa Prieto, MD

Dr. Lourdes Rosa Prieto is director of the Division of Cardiology and a pediatric & adult congenital cardiologist within The Heart Institute at Nicklaus Children's.She earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. then completed a residency in pediatrics at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in NYC, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the same institution. She then pursued a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Her clinical interests include all types of transcatheter interventions for congenital heart disease. She is board certified in pediatric cardiology&adult congenital heart disease.
