Luis Francisco Caicedo

Dr. Caicedo is the medical director of the Fecal Transplant Program, director of the Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition Fellowship Program & a pediatric gastroenterologist within the Division of Gastroenterology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr.Caicedo graduated from medical school at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital & a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology & nutrition at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr.Caicedo is board certified in both general pediatrics & pediatric gastroenterology. Clinical interests include IBD, food allergies, IBS & nutritional imbalances, incl. obesity & malnutrition
